The Countdown Is on for the First Uniform Services Day in Trowbridge

It’s just under a month to go until the first Uniform Services Day in Trowbridge and we cannot wait! There is so much planned for the day we know you are going to love it!

There will be displays and exhibits from the Police, Fire Service, NHS, Wiltshire Air Ambulance, First Aiders, Wiltshire Search and Rescue, Blood Bikes, plus the Army, RAF and Sea Cadets, Guides and Brownies.  Lots of fun have a go activities, an arena for performances and live music, delicious food and drink and displays of classic and vintage vehicles, inflatables and fairground rides, face painting and plenty more for the kids to do! We are also excited to announce that we have the RLC Silver Stars Army Parachute Display Team joining us – they are sure to put on a fantastic display.

Trowbridge Town Council’s Community Events Officer and volunteers have worked together to provide a celebration day for all of our Uniform Services. We are grateful for the roles they take within our community and to offer an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ was important to us all. After the pandemic, we felt more than ever our services needed the recognition they deserve.

Join us on Saturday 10th September 11am – 4pm in Trowbridge Park for a great fun filled day.  For more information and regular updates about the event, please see https://www.facebook.com/uniformservicesdaytrowbridge
