Chippenham Museum and Chippenham Arts joins the Peacock Arts Trail for first time

Chippenham Museum and Chippenham Arts and Cultural Events are taking part in North West Wiltshire’s Peacock Arts Trail for the first time, as the popular event takes place again from Saturday 5 to Sunday 13 October.

The Museum is showcasing artists specialising in jewellery, mosaics and painting and ACE will exhibit a variety of work by local artists in the Yelde Hall.

They will be joining a host of local artists in Chippenham and Kington Langley who will be opening their own fascinating workshops and studios to visitors and the beautiful Barn Gallery, in Kington Langley, which will also highlight local creative talent.

The trail takes place in Corsham, Chippenham, Box and surrounding villages every two years. It’s a free event which sees artists welcoming visitors to their studios and workshops or exhibiting with others in public venues.

Organiser, Victoria Jarman said, “Look out for our bright pink road signs which help visitors discover over 85 fascinating creative folk. There’s something to please all tastes, and it’s ideal for finding perfect gifts, unique cards or stunning items for your home.”
