Our Popular Wiltshire Game & Country Fair returns to the Bowood Estate over the weekend of August 12th/13th. It’s a Country show full of Country sports and pursuits with arena entertainment running throughout the day. Watch Falconry, Gundogs, Horse Boarding, Scurry Driving and Sheepdog Displays. A new face to the arena this year is Chris Green the Cornish Countryman who will be displaying his expertise in Wild Fowling.
Around the show there are a number of demonstrations and Have a Go Events including Clayshoot, Fishing, Airguns and Archery to name a few.
A visit to our World of Dogs section is a must for any dog lover with a chance for your pet or working dog to participate in Lurcher Racing, Gun Dog Multi Scurry, Clinic and Fun Dog Show.
Relax and enjoy the atmosphere of our Food Glorious Food section, with a variety of Street Foods and drink vendors, Chef demonstrations and music marquee.
Here you will find an array of fine foods, wines and spirits from local and national producers and retailers in the Fine Food halls.
A visit to the Craft village is well worth it especially when looking for that special gift for a loved one or even to treat yourself. A place to buy that unique gift and watch traditional craft demonstrations. They are accompanied by a Chainsaw Carving arena with carvings being auctioned at the end of each event.
Childrens entertainment and amusements make it a great family day out.
