A fantastic day for people thinking about taking up beekeeping as well as old hands who want to learn a whole lot more.

Kids activities include experimenting with solar toys and experiments courtesy of sponsors Eden Renewables, candle rolling and exploring inside a virtual hive. There is also honey beer and mead tasting and a large selection of honey, candles, beeswax cosmetics and bee-related gifts as well as bee-friendly seeds on sale from a variety of suppliers.
