Bradford on Avon Green Man Festival
The Bradford on Avon Green Man Festival is a free, family friendly community event of traditional dance, music, song and folklore across the town centre on Saturday 13th May 2023. This year we have around 36 dance groups (over 300 dancers and 100 musicians), our 10′ giant Jack in the Green leads the day with dancing at 9 town centre locations, His partner Jill in the Green will be resurrecting a lost Wiltshire Garland Dance. We have a samba band, a mummers’ plays, a Folk Club stage, a choral and classical concert, live music in pubs, a kids’ zone including a fun fair, an artisan market, community groups’ hub, a pagan arts and crafts market and more, and it’s all FREE!. The day starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm. Use public transport if you can but we have a festival car and bike park at BA15 1LF.
