Step Out for a Walk to Remember!
Pull on your walking boots for Alzheimer’s Support’s A Walk to Remember – back for its third year at Bowood on Sunday 22nd June.
The sponsored walk is a memorable day out for the whole family, and an important fundraiser for Wiltshire’s own dementia charity which support more than 2,000 people in Wiltshire.
The walk is a circular seven-miles through some of North Wiltshire’s loveliest countryside, starting and finishing at the estate at the invitation of Lady Lansdowne.
Everyone walks at their own pace, and part of the fun is the community spirit of joining in with others in a good cause.
Alzheimer’s Support fundraiser Rachel Fear said: “We are delighted to be back at Bowood in June. More than 100 people took part last year and we’d love to see even more joining in this year. Taking part really does make a difference for people affected by dementia in our community.”
